Children's Unicorn Bag- Crochet Tutorial

Here we are again with another cute project. This children’s unicorn bag is fun to make for your daughters, granddaughters, or as a gift for a little princess.

Skill Required: Magic Ring, Chain, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet

A BAG:

Start with a magic ring

ROW 1: SC 12 into the magic ring and slip stitch with the first SC

ROW 2: Chain 1, SC 2 in every stitch from the previous row

ROW 3:  Chain 1, *HDC, HDC2 in next stitch: Repeat from * to last Stitch

ROW 4:  HDC in every stitch of the row

ROW 5: *HDC, HDC, HDC 2 in the third stitch: Repeat from * to last Stitch

CHANGE YOUR COLOR HERE

ROW 6 – 12: HDC in every stitch

ROW 13 – 20: HDC, HDC 2 Together, HDC until the end of the row

 

A BUTTON HOLE:

It really doesn’t’ matter where you start.

Attach your yard to the bag rim.

ROW 1- 3: Chain 1, HDC 4

ROW 4: Chain 1, HDC 2, Chain 1, HDC 2

ROW 5:  HDC 5 and fasten your work

 

BAG STRIP:

CHAIN 100

ROW 1-3: SC every stitch of the row and fasten

FLOWERS:

Start with a Magic Ring

ROW 1: SC 6 into the magic ring and slip stitch to the first SC

ROW 2: *SC, HDC 3, SC Into a first stitch: Repeat from * 4x until you have 5 petals in your flower and fasten your work.

 

UNICORN HORN:

Chain 10 and connect to you first chain

ROW 1: SC 10 and slip stitch to the first stitch  of the row

ROW 2: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 9

ROW 3: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 8

ROW 4: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 7

ROW 5: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 6

ROW 6: Chain 1, SC 6

ROW 7: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 5

ROW 8: Chain 1, SC 2 together, SC 4   

ROW 9: Chain 1, SC 2 together 2x

ROW 10: SC 2 together and fasten
