The secret to using the Washi Chomper

There are so many creative tools out there to take your art projects to the next level. There’s something for everyone, so your creative juices will never run stale. Today, I will show you a quick tutorial on how to use a Washi Chomper.

Say adios to ruining your projects by trying to cut straight lines with scissors, and say hello to the Washi Chomper! When I bought myself this little tool, I had a hard time figuring out what to do with it. If you find yourself dealing with the same challenge, let’s go through the technical steps together.

First, unlock the little latch at the back of the chomper.

Then, you can slide the center tool in and out to make sure your work is always accurate.

You can slide and flip over the  cutting board with measurements on it.

You can chop things up to 1” wide without having to press hard at all.

If this is your first time using the Washi Chomper, enjoy and release your inner creator! Just have fun with this artistic toy. And if you’re a crafter and using Washi Chomper only for your washi tapes, you have been missing out!

You can use the Washi Chomper to cut through different materials like ribbon, lace, art fleece, thin leather, paper and anything else you need to make a “V” shape. It can be used to beautifully embellish things like banners, cards, and bookmarks. Have fun tinkering around with this very handy and quirky tool!
